These hoop earrings were designed to have a gemstone setting that would harmonize with the other pieces in the Flower of Life collection. They are a perfect match for the Abydos, Smokey Quartz, Iolite and Garnet Rings. The Abydos Hoop Earrings are a staple that every woman must own.
Abydos is the oldest known place of discovery for the Flower of Life in the Osiris temple. The Osiris temple is special because of its unique geometric construction which is believed to be inspired by the Flower of Life. The Sphinx is the only other temple in the region to be constructed of the same materials and manner.
Since tarnishing is caused by oxidation of the metal when the silver comes in contact with the air, keep your jewelry in its anti-tarnish bag, or in a fairly airtight container like a velvet-lined jewelry box. Also, your natural body oils will help keep the jewelry clean so remember to wear it!! Don’t leave it out on a nightstand to tarnish. If the jewelry does begin to tarnish, lightly scrub the surface with a thick paste of baking soda and water using a soft bristled toothbrush. If the tarnish is more severe, try a silver cleaner like Wright's Silver Polish or a silver dip remembering to avoid stones such as turquoise and garnet to protect their luster.
