Akasha Cup Sterling Silver Ring

Thank you for your wonderful years of support. After much thought and consideration, I will miss design, but I am still doing custom pieces and look forward to my next exciting adventure. At this time, I will be moving to my next phase in life and no longer selling my jewelry.

~ Wendy Culpepper

Materials Sterling Silver
Finish High Polish
Rings Sizes 5, 6, 7, 8

When designing this ring, I had a special idea in mind for stacking bands. The unique inverted design is not only beautiful, but it also allows for all of the other rings in the Flower of Life collection to be comfortably stacked and interchanged for your own individual look. My favorite compliment to the Akasha Ring is the Osiris Ring

The ring integrates the outline of the Fiore shape with the internal negative designs of the inspirational Flower of Life. The name, Akasha, is found in the Hindu religion meaning “sky.” In Hindu mysticism, the “five great elements”, Panchamahabhuta, represent fire, water, air, earth, and light and sound elements that bring both spirit and nature together. The Akasha is the primary element of which all other elements are created. Just as Akasha brings both spiritual meaning together with natural meaning, the Flower of Life is believed to hold the key to understanding the forms and shapes existent on earth that show testament to the existence of a higher being.
Since tarnishing is caused by oxidation of the metal when the silver comes in contact with the air, keep your jewelry in its anti-tarnish bag, or in a fairly airtight container like a velvet-lined jewelry box. Also, your natural body oils will help keep the jewelry clean so remember to wear it!! Don’t leave it out on a nightstand to tarnish. If the jewelry does begin to tarnish, lightly scrub the surface with a thick paste of baking soda and water using a soft bristled toothbrush. If the tarnish is more severe, try a silver cleaner like Wright's Silver Polish or a silver dip remembering to avoid stones such as turquoise and garnet to protect their luster.

  • "The two words I would use to describe this ring are flirty and feminine. I don't like anything too dainty and this definitely makes a statement. It is beautiful and well made. I am sure I will be back soon for some additional matching pieces!! :) Thanks for another great piece."
