Like its earring counterpart, the Large Bloom pendant necklace debuts the unique and contemporary large fiore shape while adding a splash of color. The special aspect of the necklace is the way the fiore pendant tapers to fall between the collar bones and accentuate the neckline. Beautiful with a V-neck, scoop neck, or under a collar, this bold pendant is available with a burst of deep red, warm tones of pink and smokey brown beads making it extremely versatile for any wardrobe or style.
The Fiore Collection comes from the inspiration I received in Florence, Italy. Florence was the city that gave me the opportunity to fully embrace art. I pursued drawing, painting, sculpture, and most importantly, I was introduced to jewelry. One of the most captivating features of the city is the architecture adorned with such precise and beautiful detail. A prominent symbol is the Florentine version of the "fleur-de-lis," which inspired my flower ('fiore') collection with similar clean, yet bold design elements. By giving the silver a high polish, I was able to demonstrate the pure reflectivity of the metal, which I feel brings out the full essence of the pieces. Conversely, the matte finish of the gold softens the look with a balance of color and texture.
Since tarnishing is caused by oxidation of the metal when the silver comes in contact with the air, keep your jewelry in its anti-tarnish bag, or in a fairly airtight container like a velvet-lined jewelry box. Also, your natural body oils will help keep the jewelry clean so remember to wear it!! Don’t leave it out on a nightstand to tarnish. If the jewelry does begin to tarnish, lightly scrub the surface with a thick paste of baking soda and water using a soft bristled toothbrush. If the tarnish is more severe, try a silver cleaner like Wright's Silver Polish or a silver dip remembering to avoid stones such as turquoise and garnet to protect their luster.
