Make a bold statement with the 14K gold vermeil Lulu Necklace! This piece features a medium paradise pendant with 5 descending chains of varying width, ranging from 2-6 inches in length. Citrine and Peridot semi precious gemstones as well as a small fiore pendant accent the medium paradise. The Lulu will accentuate your movements whether walking around the office or while out dancing in the evening.
While colors always inspire me, the Bird of Paradise flower caught my eye with both its bright colors and unique outline. Our Fiore shape, inspired by Italy, is such a great complement and framework that I felt fusing the two would create a fabulous metal sculpture. The ability to mix and match jewelry has always been something I love to do, but this collection not only layers well, it gives full circle to it's look by incorporating our well-known signature shape. I feel having the chance to combine my favorite memories, shapes, and inspirations in a collection are the foundation of my love to design and create jewelry.
Vermeil is defined as an overlay of gold on sterling silver. This ensures a quality metal as opposed to base metals under your gold. Because of its plating, vermeil should never be polished. If severe tarnish is occurring from the sterling silver tarnishing beneath your gold, an ultrasonic cleaning can be used on a limited basis. To help reduce this tarnishing, we have added a palladium layer between our sterling silver and gold on many items. Your vermeil will look beautiful for a long time to come and will “antique” with age for a charming new look. Just remember to protect it in your anti-tarnish felt bag or a velvet lined jewelry box to avoid scratching, chemicals, hairspray, and make-up.
