These earrings are unique because they are so versatile with their petite size and small pop of color. They mix and match with nearly everything in the line, specifically great with the Plato Necklace, Mayan Necklace, Merkaba Necklace, and my personal favorite, the Beaded Akasha Necklace.
Mandorla is translated from Italian to mean "almond." The mandorla is represented in sacred geometry as the overlapping pie shape of two perfectly overlapping concentric circles. While it is normally defined as when the edge of the two circles touch the center point of the circle next to it, in religious art, the mandorla is the almond-shaped aureole of light surrounding the entire figure of a holy person. It is famously utilized in inspirational Christian art to spotlight the figure of Christ and is also found in the art of Buddhism.
Vermeil is defined as an overlay of gold on sterling silver. This ensures a quality metal as opposed to base metals under your gold. Because of its plating, vermeil should never be polished. If severe tarnish is occurring from the sterling silver tarnishing beneath your gold, an ultrasonic cleaning can be used on a limited basis. To help reduce this tarnishing, we have added a palladium layer between our sterling silver and gold on many items. Your vermeil will look beautiful for a long time to come and will “antique” with age for a charming new look. Just remember to protect it in your anti-tarnish felt bag or a velvet lined jewelry box to avoid scratching, chemicals, hairspray, and make-up.
