The unique design of this Sterling Silver necklace combines a single shape, which artistically integrates our signature Fiore outline, with a small piece of the Flower of Life. I designed this necklace using a large link chain to balance the petite center pendant.
Mandorla is translated from Italian to mean "almond." The mandorla is represented in sacred geometry as the overlapping pie shape of two perfectly overlapping concentric circles. While it is normally defined as when the edge of the two circle touch the center point of the circle next to it, in religious art, the mandorla is the almond-shaped aureole of light surrounding the entire figure of a holy person. It is famously utilized in Christian art to spotlight the figure of Christ and is also found in the art of Buddhism.
Since tarnishing is caused by oxidation of the metal when the silver comes in contact with the air, keep your jewelry in its anti-tarnish bag, or in a fairly airtight container like a velvet-lined jewelry box. Also, your natural body oils will help keep the jewelry clean so remember to wear it!! Don’t leave it out on a nightstand to tarnish. If the jewelry does begin to tarnish, lightly scrub the surface with a thick paste of baking soda and water using a soft bristled toothbrush. If the tarnish is more severe, try a silver cleaner like Wright's Silver Polish or a silver dip remembering to avoid stones such as turquoise and garnet to protect their luster.
