Like the earring counterpart, the Sinai has a very soft flow about it. The fine chain with the dainty design and spots of color make it a great necklace for every day wear under a collar or with a v-neck. Personally, I love the Iolite paired with jeans or the Purple Jade to add color to a black wrap.
Mount Sinai, one of the most revered and religious sites in the Jewish religion, contains one of the oldest discoveries of the Flower of Life. Carved in stone, the design has been studied in relation to the culture for thousands of years. The Flower of Life, possibly filtering in from the Egyptian culture, has permeated throughout the Jewish and Christian religions and can be found studied in the Kabbalah as well.
Vermeil is defined as an overlay of gold on sterling silver. This ensures a quality metal as opposed to base metals under your gold. Because of its plating, vermeil should never be polished. If severe tarnish is occurring from the sterling silver tarnishing beneath your gold, an ultrasonic cleaning can be used on a limited basis. To help reduce this tarnishing, we have added a palladium layer between our sterling silver and gold on many items. Your vermeil will look beautiful for a long time to come and will “antique” with age for a charming new look. Just remember to protect it in your anti-tarnish felt bag or a velvet lined jewelry box to avoid scratching, chemicals, hairspray, and make-up.
