This Sterling Silver necklace is a stylish and versatile accent piece! The suede cord adds a touch of softness to this silver piece.
While colors always inspire me, the Bird of Paradise flower caught my eye with both its bright colors and unique outline. Our Fiore shape, inspired by Italy, is such a great complement and framework that I felt fusing the two would create a fabulous metal sculpture. The ability to mix and match jewelry has always been something I love to do, but this collection not only layers well, it gives full circle to it's look by incorporating our well-known signature shape. I feel having the chance to combine my favorite memories, shapes, and inspirations in a collection are the foundation of my love to design and create jewelry.
Since tarnishing is caused by oxidation of the metal when the silver comes in contact with the air, keep your jewelry in its anti-tarnish bag or in a fairly airtight container like a velvet-lined jewelry box. Also, your natural body oils will help keep the jewelry clean so remember to wear it!!
Matte finished or “brushed” silver jewelry has unique properties. You can clean it as you would normal sterling silver, but to restore the brushed finish and/or remove light tarnish, you can lightly scrub the surface with an UNTREATED scotch-brite pad, moving in the same direction as the matte finish. If the tarnish is more severe, use the same process, first lightly dipping the piece in silver dip, remembering to avoid stones such as turquoise and garnet to protect their luster. The cotton cord is sturdy and can be immersed in water. However, please avoid allowing the cord to come in contact with any polish or silver dip, as discoloration may occur. All cord is replaced free of charge for the life of the jewelry. If the cord becomes damaged or discolored with time, please contact us, and arrangements will be made for its replacement.
